Coronavirus - information for patients

Due to the coronavirus, special protective measures apply in the Zuger Kantonsspital.

Protective measures for patients, accompanying persons and visitors 

• Masks must be worn throughout the hospital (also for visitors in the patient's room). Masks are available free of charge at the main entrance
• Please disinfect your hands before entering and leaving the hospital. Hand disinfectant is available at the main entrance
• Whenever possible, please keep a distance of at least 1.5 metres to other people
• COVID-19 symptoms: Patients who have been tested positive for the coronavirus or have Covid-19 symptoms (cough, cold, sore throat, shortness of breath, headache, fever/feverish sensation, pain in the limbs or sudden loss of the sense of taste or smell etc.) are kindly asked not to come to the hospital, but to contact our clinic in charge by telephone (see contact details on the appointment confirmation). Visitors and accompanying persons who have been tested positive for the coronavirus or have Covid-19 symptoms are kindly asked not to enter the hospital.
